Gogz, you are right, Wanxian is larger concrete arch, but it's of a different kind, it has steel suports in it. That's why I said "of it's kind". Well, it doesn't matter really, this bridge was an impressive feat of engineering and it looks stunningly beautiful! :)

The original name for the bridge is "Tito's bridge" (Titov most), named after Yugoslav leader Josip Broz Tito.

Like the sound of cracking, "Khrrkh" (with silent h's). The bridge is named after the island (left) it connects to mainland (right). In the middle the bridge goes on top of the small St. Marcus island. The right span, with it's length of 390m, is the largest concrete arch span of it's kind in the world :)
