RickLW Again...I think one of the 'big 4 skylines...Shanghai, H K. New York and ....duh Dubai.
okthen Not looking for anyone to get offended, this is just my honest opinion. Upon first seeing the banner I thought this is a 5. But after staring at it for 30 seconds or so I noticed a few things. The lack of supertalls. How old, dated and quite franky boring most of the individual buildings are. How the banner is angled in such a way to give the impression of a much denser cluster of skyscrapers in Manhattan than there actually are in reality. How when one really looks at it, the skyline is not all that impressive any more. I think most of us have been conditioned by years of shall we say....'specific' NYC imagery, to make it look much more impressive than it actually is. There are far better skylines out there, many of which get next to no recognition or respect. Yet we keep seeing boring old US skylines that only impress the unknowledgeable. Sorry NYC, but it's a 2 from me. You've had your day.  +3
RickLW Shanghai is the biggest city in the World, the 21st century city, the highest viewing gallery, fastest lift...and as one N Yer said - It makes N Y seem provincial.
Oppeln Only a part right of Statue is probably greater than most European skylines :)
Gabotrilius One of the most overrated skylines ever. It's not even near that beautiful in person, it's not balanced nor modern nor anything. I don't like it.  +1
RickLW Good but not up to Shanghai.  +1
TheIllinoisan Shanghai has nothing on New York. Shanghai doesnt even have the best skyline in china.  +3
3vallesgve Bonita ciudad, y a la vez nada nuevo

Chapelo And yet we're the capital of the world, you'  +3
MENA55 What does that have to do my comment? Yes NY is a very iconic and important city but i'm just expressing my views on the skyline/photo. No need to cry over my opinion buddy.  +1
Mascabrother Whatever...
mrjomaled the big apple will always be #1
MarioSky 5/5 from Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil!

LeitoStafe Boring and repetitive.. 2/5  +1
wjfox 5/5
keepthepast It is New York, but doesn't look like New York. This southern view misses the grand scale of Manhattan and the breadth and depth of the multitude of recognizable skyscrapers that define this #1 city's skyline. I give it a 3 at best.  +2
Nightjar Trump was right about one thing - the twin towers of the WTC should have been rebuilt.  +2
Feast486 West Heart
Mauro Martins Really love this city !!!
marcogiso 5 from ROME, but i prefer London to NY
brny My little town blues...Amazing! Unique! Big Apple! No other big city gives this feeling to be a part of it! New super tall buildings under construction are changing the classic skyline ! You gotta come to discover it!
Mascabrother Please, no more tourists lol
diddyD Amazing.
Voorish-Gdansk Icon. 5/5  +2
TheAngrySlav Gotta love the Manhattan skyline. 5 from Germany
SpiderBHZ 5 from Brasília.
Ivan the Immigrant MISC: Have you noticed 40 Wall street and American International building on the right? They appear not so big today. While in reality they are first world's supertall skyscrapers. They were completed in 1930 with height slightly below 300m as part of contest along with Walter Chrysler building in mid Manhattan for title 'world's heighest building'. Chrysler building won in terminal phase of construction by secretly installing architectural 30m tall spire which was mounted from inside the building so that two rival buildings developers could not be able to spot that at the time....
Ivan the Immigrant double post, sorry....
Ivan the Immigrant MISC2: Can you spot Chrysler building on this picture? You can see it's roof slightly to the right of 432 Park ave. Did you know that Walter Chrysler funded his building from his pocket instead of his company money which was completely uncommon. If you ask why he did so, the answer is: he knew if he build it from company money, the building would change it's name in the case some buys that building. Which is precisely what happened with 40 Wall street(today Trump bldg.) and American International bldg.(today 70 Pine street). As Crysler building was funded from Walter Crysler's personal money, today it is still his building. At least by it's name...;)
NeonLicht Still better than any boring and soulless asian city 5/5  +3

alexss1987 Well, this is THE SKYLINE! 5/5
DDR 2.0 The One WTC would look much better without this f***ing antenna! Much more iconic.
Lucas R its better to have one big antenna than a thousand disperse arround the city, believe me, if you dont, take a look of Buenos Aires  +1
defy Russia.  +2
Fadil.P Image Very UHD..
Federation2014 5/5! From Russia with love!:)  +1
RedCoppa 5 from Ufa!  +1
Silvist Where are the two towers? I do not believe. This is Photoshop.  +1
DDR 2.0 The two towers vanished in 2001. They've been destroyed by two airplanes, not by Photoshop.
keepthepast Airplanes didn't destroy the buildings, muslims driving them did.
redcode 5/5
Naipesky "Stick, not spire!" Srsly, does anyone cares about it now?
