If they were built in the same year, I would probably vote the mosque, but I tend to be more impressed with older structures. The mosque is less amazing for being built in 1993...
[23] Rabih on May 9, 2012 05:28:40
the minarest. more polished.

just look at the date of construction. 'nuff said. Just too impressive how they could build those cathedrals with just rocks.
[18] Kiboko on May 6, 2012 07:47:38
I hate gothic architecture, so the mosque wins
[17] samurairegio on May 6, 2012 07:13:12
the mosque thing is more aestethic and taller, simple is better
[16] ArtZ on May 6, 2012 05:38:53
the tower of mosque is much more pretty
[15] WilfBurnsFan on May 6, 2012 03:48:18
Both attractive; the detailing of the tower draws the eye up further than the blockishness of the minaret, so I vote Ulm.
[14] Kanto on May 6, 2012 03:39:37
Both hideous but the mosque at least doesn't have so many ugly spikes as the church does
[13] Quintina on May 6, 2012 01:43:07
Mosque!
[12] Arda_1923 on May 6, 2012 01:16:14
Ulmer Münster for great details.
[11] hotice on May 6, 2012 00:57:19
100 year before has merit, despite been smaller
[10] Simgiov on May 6, 2012 00:07:31
162 in 1890 is remarkable and that minaret is the least sleek tower i've ever seen
[9] Keyone on May 6, 2012 00:04:08
Ulmer Münster
[8] Lindemann on May 5, 2012 23:46:06
Ulmer Münster is 100 years older. It of course has a lot more merit.

Pty000 - This contest is about aesthetics not religion, so calm down.
