Manitopiaaa The Izmir tower looks like it was built in the late 1960s. So I vote Riga
doguorsi2 bat Izmir is nat in yurop amk embesilleri  +2
hnrt Izmir is more European than Berlin today. Deal with it.  +1
hnrt 186 meters pure beuty versus twix chocolate
The Cake On BBQ Not this "Izmir is not in Europe" shit again. Yeah, we get it, it's not geographically in Europe. Turkey is under Euroscrapers in SSC and Izmir is therefore included in this cup.
3tmk Should we include the Tour Pointe Simon in Martinique, since it's in France and thus European?  +4
The Cake On BBQ Not even comparable. Istanbul, which is Turkey's cultural and economical center is on Europe - that means Turkey's center is on Europe. Last time I checked, no parts of Paris were situated on Martinique.
3tmk But this isn't in Istanbul, it's in Izmir. Just because France has Guyane doesn't make it South American. Which is what your flawed and illogical argument makes. If you put this Asian city Izmir from this Asian country Turkey in the contest as European, then you insult history  +2
The Cake On BBQ So would you go for the same argument if a building for Canary Islands were featured here? I don't think so. You are clearly biaased against Turkey and stop trying to make it sound rational.
SEAfan Riga all the way!
Balkanada Ege Perla because I don't think everything in the 21st century needs to be glass
Edil Arda Booklet BTW: [link]
Edil Arda Perla has wonderful details and unique architecture. On the other hand Z-tornis' are nice towers with welldone cladding.  +1
Rens Puts Izmir is not Europe, and z tornis design is stolen from the Rabobank hq in Utrecht?  +3
Edil Arda Both Russia and Turkey are categorized on SSC as part of the European section and therefore both countries are accepted as full European nations in our forum.  +2

Minxel Hate to point it out but Izmir is not Europe  +10
Rokugatsu Exactly. I could understand Istanbul, but Izmir, really?

Triple C And this "Turkey is not in Europe" dicking was the reason of closure of Turkey section in first years of SSC (almost 12 years ago)
